    Welcome to the Official DuckWorld Forums Rules!
    These rules are your ONLY protection from an IMMEDIATE infraction, ban, or IP ban. Please read them carefully and check back often as they are constantly updated and changed. (Fairly, of course.)

    1. NO BAD WORDS! Bad words of ANY type - including minor curse words - are NOT permitted or welcomed here at CPC. Minor curse words will receive a 1 day ban, but major ones will receive a permanent, IP-based ban.

    2. NO BAD PICTURES, VIDEOS, OR LINKS! This means NO links to bad photos, videos, websites, or ANY type of material that is not appropriate for users younger than the age of 8. We have users of all ages here - let's not be unfair and drive the younger users away.

    3. NO ADVERTISING! You may advertise in your signature freely, but it must still comply with rules 1 and 2. Advertising in a post is not accepted.

    4. NO SPAMMING! This means TRY not to post with 1 word. (That isn't that big of a deal, but we advise that you do not do it as it can get annoying.) Do not use any more than 10 (will be enlarged/shrank if need be) smilies in your post. Be sure to remain on topic at all times. (This includes posting in the correct topic.)

    5. NO BUMPING ON TOPICS THAT ARE OLDER THAN ONE MONTH. Always go to page one of the topic you are viewing and check the date of the first post before making a new one. If you are bumping a topic to put it at the top of the list, YOU MAY ONLY DO IT TWICE IN A ROW WITHIN 48 HOURS!

    6. NO BACKSEAT MODDING! If you need to tell the staff anything about another user or his/her topic that concerns you, please report them instead of posting "this needs to be locked!!!" or other such sentences. We WILL ALWAYS RECEIVE AND LOOK INTO YOUR REPORTS AS SOON AS WE CAN.

    7. NO POSTING A PICTURE OF YOURSELF OR USING YOUR REAL PICTURE AS YOUR AVATAR! This is for privacy reasons. Such actions will only result in your picture being removed and any of your personal information being deleted.

    8. NO POSTING ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF IN REAL LIFE! Saying that you are a boy or girl is acceptable, as well as possibly your age if it is displayed within your public profile. Any posts containing information such as your location, zip code, state, address, phone number, ect. will be deleted or edited out. It is not terrible to do so, but please do not post your real name either. If you do so, you will be politely contacted to edit your post, but will not be pressured to do so.

    9. NO ASKING TO BE A MODERATOR OR ADMINISTRATOR! You will be chosen by how active you are, how nice you are, and how well you seem to be able to deal with certain situations. YOUR BEST BET IS TO SEND IN AS MANY ACCURATE AND TRUE (meaning that you can't report someone for something they didn't do and it still count) REPORTS AS POSSIBLE. And as stated above, be active and kind as well.

    10. NO BEING RUDE OR FLAMING WITH OTHER MEMBERS! Flaming is technically ALL IN CAPS, but here it is any post involving an argument that seems to be getting out of hand. You will be banned for one week if you are found to be the offender. If need be, you and the person you were flaming with will BOTH be banned if it is seen that you were BOTH to blame for the flame.

    11. NO HARASSING OTHER USERS! If you are being harassed by a user, please PM me, or any of the other staff with a quote of the EXACT, NON-EDITED POST OR PRIVATE MESSAGE along with an explanation as to why you feel you are being harassed.

    12. NO COPYING ANY MATERIAL FROM THIS SITE FOR YOUR OWN unless you are granted permission by ME. Other administrators are NOT permitted to allow or deny material use UNLESS it is THEIR own material.

    13. NO CLAIMING TO BE SOMEONE ELSE! If you come from CPP or some other forum, please do not claim to be someone that you are not. Please do not make an account that "sounds" similar to another account on this forum. (Unless it's something like soccer or something.)

    14. NO DISCUSSION OF ANY TYPE OF SEXUAL ACTIVITY OR ANY TYPE OF SEXUAL ANYTHING! Keep everything within this forum G rated, so that younger visitors can come here without their parents having to worry.

    15. NO TELLING THE STAFF HOW TO DO THEIR JOB. If something they do worries you, report them and say why it worries you. Or just PM me. (Supersoradud_2.) You don't tell US how to run OUR forum, we won't tell YOU how to run YOURS. (However, if you have some helpful suggestions they will be accepted, but no TELLING us what to do, just SUGGESTING.)

    16. HAVE FUN!




    PUNISHMENT CHART:
    ~If rule 1 is broken, you will be given a 1 day ban (for common curse words) or a permanent IP ban (for offensive curse words).
    ~If rule 2 is broken, you will be given an IMMEDIATE permanent IP ban.
    ~If rule 3 is broken, you will be given 1 infraction for a first offense, 2 infractions (at once) for the second, or a 7 day ban for any further offenses.
    ~If rule 4 is broken, you will be given 1 infraction (for a smily or off topic offense) the first time, 2 infractions for the second offense, and a 1 day ban for any further offenses. (One word posts will be given warnings. 5 warnings on one word posting earns 2 infractions.)
    ~If rule 5 is broken, you will be given 1 infraction for the first offense, 2 infractions for the second, and a 1 day ban for any further offenses.
    ~If rule 6 or 9 is broken, you will (1)loose a good chance of becoming a mod or admin and (2) given 1 infraction. Further offenses will be given a (1) 3 day ban (for asking to be a staff member too much) and (2) 2 day ban (for back seat modding too much).
    ~If rule 7 or 8 is broken, you will be given 1 infraction (the first time, for posting your real pic or releasing too much information about yourself), 2 infractions, or a 2 day ban for further offenses. (Posting your age or real name is excluded, but you will be asked once to remove your name if you post it. No further, of course.)
    ~If rule 10 or 11 is broken, you will be given 3 infractions (for a first offense of flaming), 4 infractions (for a first offense of harassing), or a 10 day ban for both on the second offense and onward.
    ~If rule 12 is broken, we will contact your site host service and have your blog terminated. Your account will also be banned here, permanently if need be.
    ~If rule 13 is broken, you will have your account name changed to "CPC(number chosen by editor)". Any posts you make claiming to be someone else will be deleted, and you will receive 3 infractions.
    ~If rule 14 is broken, you will be IP banned immediately.
    ~Rule 15 typically receives no punishment, about 3 infractions at worst.

    IMPORTANT EXCEPTION! ANY of the above rules or set punishments CAN AND WILL BE REPLACED BY AN IMMEDIATE, NO-QUESTIONS-ASKED IP BAN IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE A CONSTANT OR HARD-CORE OFFENDER. So if you start spamming a bunch on purpose and think you can come back in 1 day, you're 100% wrong.

    These rules are immediately accepted - with or without your consent - as soon as you post here, so be sure to follow them 24/7!
